4月1日，小學部利用課間時間對各班禮儀禮節、桌洞書柜、室內衛生和桌椅擺放進行了常規檢查，402班的同學見到老師禮貌熱情，202、101、401 、402班級桌洞書柜整潔有序，302、 501班級室內整潔，桌椅板凳擺放整齊，以上優秀班級在校區班級中起到了表率作用，成為同學們在習慣養成中的榜樣，為此學校對上述班級進行了表揚嘉獎。

On April 1, the primary school had a routine checking, including etiquette, bookcase tidiness, and indoor cleaning. Class 402, 202, 101, 401, 402, 302, and 501 became examples for students to develop habits. Therefore, the school praised the above classes.

4月2日，伴隨著濛濛細雨，學校舉行了本學期第一次校園開放日活動。在活力的間操、溫暖的寢室、美味的午餐、獨特的高爾夫社團體驗以及班級家長會中走進孩子的校園生活，家長們在活動中更直觀地了解了學校開學一月來的教學管理等各項工作。在本學期第一期名師講堂中，楓葉名師王楠老師為家長們帶來了主題為“親子溝通策略”分享，家長們學習到了如何更有效的與孩子溝通交流，受益匪淺。活動最后周凱校長與家委會主任進行了面對面交流，架起了家校共育溝通的橋梁。此次的家長開放日活動，加深了家校之間的了解，促進了家校的雙向交流，達到了共同育人的目的，進一步提升了家校共育的水平。

On April 2, the school held the first campus open day of the semester. Parents learn about their children's campus life through exercises, dormitories, lunch, golf club experience and parents' meeting. In this semester's famous teacher lecture, Maple Leaf Teacher Miss Wang shared the "parent-child communication strategy". Parents learned how to communicate with their children more effectively and benefited a lot. At the end of the activity, Headmaster Mr. Zhou had a communication with the director of the family Committee. 4月2日下午，在學校階梯教室進行了主題為“將服務做到極致，用奮斗贏得尊重”的2020-2021學年第二學期第二次全體員工大會。會議在全體員工嘹亮的校歌中拉開帷幕，招生辦王帥主任為全體員工進行了主題為《唯有招生，才能發展；唯有發展，才能幸福》的招生專項培訓，周凱校長就“教育與管理”的問題進行了深刻解讀，通過這次會議，學校全體員工將借鑒其他優秀校區的成功經驗，將楓葉服務做到極致，努力奮斗，實現濰坊校區新的突破！

又見春草綠，又逢清明時。清明節，既是人民祭奠祖先、緬懷先人的宗親節日，又是一個遠足踏青、親近自然、催護新生的春季儀式，是中華兒女共同認祖歸宗的重要節日。為豐富學生的節日精神文化生活，弘揚愛國主義精神，傳承中華民族傳統文化。濰坊楓葉國際學校初中部的同學們積極行動起來，用勞動的方式參與到傳承文化的行動中。

Qingming Festival is an important festival in China. In order to enrich students' cultural life, carry forward patriotism and inherit traditional culture. The students in the middle school of MLIS-WF participate in the action of inheriting culture by means of labor.

4月7日上午大課間，濰坊楓葉國際學校第四屆英語藝術節開幕式在全校師生的參與下，在操場順利舉行，本屆藝術節主題為“做更好的自己”。開幕式首先由會徽設計者801班張繼勻介紹了設計理念，并由四位英語大使進行會徽展示，緊接著同學們在中外教老師的指導和觀摩下放飛了紙飛機，隨后周凱校長為英語藝術節暨校慶致辭，最后由師生代表Dineo和賀詩絮同學發出活動倡議，全校師生高喊“Be a Better Version of Yourself”的活動口號，此次開幕式為第四屆英語藝術節奠定了堅實的基礎，為接下來的系列活動做足了充分的準備。

On April 7, the opening ceremony of the fourth English Art Festival was held. The theme of the festival is "be a better version of yourself". First of all, Gina from class 801 introduced the design concept of the badge, which was displayed by four English ambassadors. Then, under the guidance and observation of ESL teachers, the students flew the paper airplane. Then, Headmaster Zhou had a speech for the English Art Festival. Finally, Dineo and Claudia, the representatives of teachers and students, issued an activity proposal, and teachers and students of the whole school said the slogan of "be a better version of yourself". The opening ceremony laid a solid foundation for the fourth English Art Festival and made full preparations for the following activities.

4月8日上午，在濰坊八中進行了主題為“課程標準的教學評一致性”的教學改進展示會，我校老師初中部教師代表進行了觀摩學習，此次會議提升了我校初中部教師教研水平，為今后我校“基于課程標準的教學評”教學改進提供了思路。

4月9日上午，為深切緬懷為民族獨立、人民解放而英勇犧牲的烈士，培養同學們的愛國主義情懷、厚植紅色基因和傳承革命精神，師生們體驗了一次愛國主義教育及充滿民俗文化的活動。師生們走進濰坊市烈士陵園為烈士祭奠掃墓，此次研學之旅讓師生深入學習濰坊近現代革命史，推動了學校愛國主義教育走深走實。

On April 9, in order to remember the martyrs and cultivate students' patriotic feelings, teachers and students experienced a patriotic education and folk culture activity. 4月9日下午，為了讓學生深切感受地方民俗民風，實地接受中華優秀傳統文化教育，師生們走進楊家埠民間藝術大觀園，對風箏、年畫博物館進行參觀并體驗親手制作風箏，不僅充分鍛煉了學生們的動手能力，更讓每位同學都接受了一次傳統文化的洗禮，達到了以文化人，知行合一，陶冶情操的目的。

為踐行楓葉教育集團“六五規劃”，主推濰坊校區持續發展，打造一支高素質、高效率、高執行力的楓葉團隊，學校為新入職的教職工安排了為期四周的培訓。第一次培訓在4月10日上午舉行，由周凱校長和幼兒園張媛園長分別新入職員工帶來了 “楓葉發展歷程及模式特色”及“楓葉幼兒園特色”的專題培訓。本次培訓在幫助新員工快速融入楓葉文化的同時，還使大家樹立了統一的教育理念，為勝任崗位工作打下了堅實的基礎。

On April 13, an enrollment seminar was held. Ms. Yu, an outstanding representative of life teacher, shared her enrollment cases and skills since she joined Maple Leaf. 4月13日上午，藝體組老師對硬筆書法進行了專題教學研討，同時對如何提升個人招生業績與招生技巧進行了討論與分享。通過本次教研，使各位藝體組老師認識到硬筆書法在教學中的重要性，對新學年個人招生目標有了更好地計劃。

4月13日下午，小學部各年級組針對基礎測試情況、學困生提升方法、課堂管理教學困難和期中考試復習方法四個問題進行了一次教學研討。此次教研幫助老師們找到了日常測試中的不足，為下周的期中考試做出了充分的準備。

4月14日，小學部舉行了 “蹦蹦跳跳來找茬” 數學趣味比賽活動。通過趣味十足的數學活動，給了學生一個多途徑、多角度的了解數學的舞臺，讓學生充分感受到了數學的魅力，激發了學生對數學的熱情，使學生的數學素養得到了提升。
